On this 2 day armchair adventure, you can relax, as Brian, your self-employed private guide personalises his commentary about the history/culture/geography of Québec and customises your itinerary to meet your wants/needs.
You will follow the St-Lawrence River, through endless forest, to a whale watching mecca where the St. Lawrence & Saguenay Rivers meet the Atlantic Ocean in an explosion of life.
There, you can purchase a whale watching excursions, from the operator of a vessel, with indoor/outdoor seating, that takes you past the towering cliffs of the Saguenay Fiord while a naturalist guide comments on up to 12 species of sea mammals.
You will spend the night in the quaint Auberge Manoir Bellevue, in Les Escoumins, go black bear watching, explore some places only known to locals, dine at Manicouagan Fisheries Restaurant and the next day go sea kayaking.
On the way back you will do some shopping in the boutique haven of Baie St-Paul and tour the Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré Basilica.

Day 1: Whale watching
